That's right..let's not play with any heart, desire or focus...let's pretend we're already out of the playoff race and we have nothing left to play for. Were these the words coming out of the locker room? It sure seemed like it was.
After two convincing wins earlier this week the Thrashers played terrible this weekend. I can't even begin to describe how bad both games were. No...we're not out of the playoffs, but we sure aren't helping our own cause out much by dropping these terribad stinkers this weekend.
Tomorrow we got the Predators back at Phillips Arena. The Thrashers traveled to Nashville back in January and the fan club and many others made the journey at peril to see the Thrashers drop the game 4-3. Hopefully these two horrendous games will serve as a wakeup call and the Thrashers can bounce back. The Preds are in the thick of the Western Conference fight and can ill afford to lose the points to the Thrashers anymore than we can afford to drop this game to them. It *Should* be a hotly contested game, let's just see if the Thrashers actually come out and try.

They looked a little better in the 2nd period. There was NO hustle at the start. It's crazy...they climbed their way into a playoff berth and then crapped it away.
